Call History

Application Behavior

On double-clicking a call history entry...

On double-clicking a contact...

Sets the action that will be executed on double-clicking a contact in the contacts view.

On using a tel: link

Sets the action that will be executed on using a tel: link.

A tel: link is mostly found on web pages and identifies a phone number that can be clicked. Depending on the Windows settings, an application is executed that can interpret the tel: link.

For Windows to recognize SmartCallMonitor as one of these applications, it must be registered for tel: links. This is done automatically on SmartCallMonitor setup, if the setting "Register SmartCallMonitor for tel: links" at the end of setup was set.

But you can also manually register and unregister SmartCallMonitor for tel: links. Just execute the file "SmartCallMonitor.exe" with the command line parameter "/registerTelLink" or "/unregisterTelLink".

Note: On uninstall, SmartCallMonitor automatically unregisters from tel: links.

Global Hotkey

Global Hotkey

The user-defined Hotkey, which will copy a marked phone number from any application to the clipboard, and paste it to the phone view.

To define a hotkey, simply click the textbox and enter an unused key combination. When just using one key, this key must be an "F" key except F1 and F12. When using more than one key, at least one of the keys must be a modifier key (CTRL, ALT, ...).

Due to technical reasons, not all key combinations can be defined as a hotkey.

Start call on hotkey press

If activated, SmartCallMonitor directly starts a call instead of only copying the phone number to the application.

Show "Missed Calls" dialog
