The Google contacts are only searched locally on the users side. The Google contact information of a user is not shared with other users on the network.

To enable search in your Google contacts for caller information, you have to authorize SmartCallMonitor the access to your Google contacts. The following steps have to be executed:
1.Click the button "Authorize access to Google contacts..." in the settings window.
2.Click the link below, which appears after the button click. This link should be opened with your standard browser.
3.On the website, log in with your Google account.
4.Click the button "Allow" on the next website.
5.Copy the code, which appears in the text box, and paste it in the SmartCallMonitor settings window.
6.Confirm the code with the OK button.
7.An info window appears, which informs you whether the authorization was successful.
You can now activate the Google lookup with a click on the "Synchronize contacts" button. If the mark on "Import contacts to SCM on every synchronization" is set, your Google contacts are automatically added to the SmartCallMonitor contact book with the synchronization. If the authentication was successful, Google contacts will be synchronized on every application start, and imported to the contacts, if the setting "Import contacts to SCM on every synchronization" is active.
