System Requirements

SmartPOP2Exchange can be used with the following Windows operating systems:

Due to the fact that SmartPOP2Exchange can be installed independent of the receiving SMTP server, it is not required to install SmartPOP2Exchange on the same SMTP server.

SmartPOP2Exchange works together with any random SMTP server. This includes the current email servers on:

•Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

•Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

•Microsoft Exchange Server 2013

•Microsoft Exchange Server 2016

•Microsoft Exchange Server 2019

.Net Framework 4.8 or newer is required.

System Memory:

The system service of SmartPOP2Exchange (SmartPOP2SMTP.exe) needs about 20-50MB memory or more depending on:

- The features used

- The number and

- The size of the messages to be processed

The integrated SpamAssassin runs as a separate service and needs about 150-300 MB depending on how many emails are being processed at the same time.

The system service for SmartPOP2Exchange, can therefore require 200-300MB of memory.

We recommend at least 1GB memory when using SmartPOP2Exchange.
