•Simply execute the installer and follow the instructions. After installation, SpamAssassin in a Box will try to download the latest SpamAssassin rules and automatically start the Windows service. SpamAssassin in a Box can be uninstalled through the Windows Control Panel. Any 64Bit Windows based operating system since Windows 8/Windows 2012 Server, is supported.
•Please note: Your MTA has to provide an interface to SpamAssassin, in order to use it as an anti-spam solution. There are several Windows based MTAs that support SpamAssassin integration or at least, can be extended to do so (for example, hMailServer or Exchange SpamAssassin Sink for Microsoft Exchange).
During installation, the following directories are created.
