Allowed Charsets

Overview

Here you can select which character sets are allowed for your messages. If the character set declared in the email does not match the allowed character set, its spam score is increased making it is more likely that this email is spam.

Messages encoded with UTF-8 are unaffected by this setting because UTF-8 can contain any character set.

Example: Western is selected as allowed character set. an email which is declared as Cyrillic will receive a higher spam score. However, if the email is encoded with UTF-8 and contains cyrillic text, the spam score will be unaffected.
