The protocol window can be opened in the "Tools" section of the main menu. It shows log entries for the SmartCallMonitor process and is used for error detection.
If the debug mode is activated, log entries are additionally written to the file in "%AppData%\Jam Software\SmartCallMonitor\SmartCallMonitor_DebugLog.txt". This file only contains entries for SmartCallMonitor. The respective service with the name SmartCallMonitorService writes to a separate file that can be found in "%ProgramData%\Jam Software\SmartCallMonitor\ServiceLog.txt".
Both files are truncated when reaching the limit of 800KB, so they do not take up too much disk space.
Debug Mode |
Activates the debug mode to create more detailed entries and to write them additionally to a file. Activating the debug mode requires an application restart. If the debug mode is activated, log entries are additionally written to the file in "%AppData%\Jam Software\SmartCallMonitor\SmartCallMonitor_DebugLog.txt". |
Scroll automatically |
If activated, the view scrolls automatically when new entries are generated. |
Clear log |
Deletes all log entries in the view. |
Send Outlook Mail to Support |
Creates an Outlook mail to SmartCallMonitor support, and attaches both log files to the email. The email can be edited before sending. |
