User Management
Add user |
The username must conform to the Windows username and be entered together with the domain in the format "domainname\username". Added users are authorized to communicate with the SmartCallMonitor service. If no domain is available, use the computer name instead. |
Load Users from AD |
Tries to load users from the Active Directory, and to assign them the permissions for their phone line. |
Edit Line Permissions... |
Opens a new window, where for every user the capabilities for each line can be set. If only "Line State" is selected for a user, he is able to see the current line state, but no caller information. If "Monitoring" is checked for a user, he can see the activities for the respective line, but isn't able to control it. If a user has "Full Access" to a line, he is also able to control the calls and to start calls on this line. |
Edit Database Permissions... |
Opens a new window, where for every user the capabilities for the database can be set. The capabilities are separate for the shared contacts and the call history. "Read" allows the client to load the data. "Modify" additionally allows to modify it. "Delete" additionally allows to delete data entries. |
Use authorization settings also for local users |
If activated, the configured user capabilities are also applied to local users. |
Allow only admins to change service settings |
If activated, only users with administrator rights can change any service settings, i.e. the most telephony settings, text and JSON journal, online, database and JSON lookups, and also the service security settings. |
