SpaceObServer Web Access provides the end user with some tools to help the administrator to clean up the disk space:
You can activate checkboxes in the directory tree of Web Access. The button 'show checkboxes' in the menu bar activates the checkboxes. The end user can now use the checkboxes to select folders and thus let the adimistrator know which folders are relevant for cleaning up. The administrator can import the marked checkboxes in the SpaceObServer and perform his cleanup. To do this, the administrator selects a scan in SpaceObServer, opens the context menu in the directory tree and selects the entry 'Load markers from database' and then the category Web client. Then all markers set by the end user will be visible through the checkboxes in SpaceObServer.
End users and administrators can specify in text form what to do with folders and files. The "Details" tab contains the "Note" column. Right-clicking on a table line opens the context menu. The "Edit annotation" entry can be used to add or edit notes. Created or modified notes are visible synchronously in both SpaceObServer and Web Access.
It is possible to create a link to a specific folder. When this link will be pasted into the browser then the Web Access automatically starts and expands the directory tree up to the selected folder and additionally opens the desired tab. Open the context menu in Web Access in the directory tree and select the entry "Create link".
