File Search¶
SpaceObServer offers a large range of filter functions to detect files with specific properties in the scanned directories. You can define personalized or activate predefined filter with the integrated File Search.
Open the File Search dialog via the “Configure” option in the Search Ribbon.
With the two radio buttons above the “OK”, “Cancel” and “Help” buttons you can decide if files have to match ALL or at least ONE of the selected search options.
Note
After you commit your search settings with the OK button, the search results are shown in the SpaceObServer views. So, the results are not presented in a plain list, but shown in its file system tree structure. All views like “Chart”, “Extensions” and “Top Files” will be updated. If you want to have all the selected files in one list you can select the “Show Details Plain” option in the “View” menu.
