Load Scan

Here you can select a scanned share or drive to load into the SpaceObServer directory tree.

Reload

Reloads the scan currently selected in the direcotry tree from the database.

Remove Scan from View

Removes the currently selected scan from the directory tree.

Size

Shows the size of files and folders  in the directory tree.

Allocated Space

Shows occupied disk space on the hard disk  in the directory tree.

Number of Files

Shows the number of files in the selected folders  in the directory tree.

Percent

Shows how much percent of the parent folder each folder occupies  in the directory tree.

Automatic Unit

If this option is activated, SpaceObServer will automatically select the most appropriate size unit.

GB

Shows size values in gigabyte (GB).

MB

Shows size values in megabyte (MB).

KB

Shows size values in kilobyte (KB).

Expand

A submenu to expand the selected directory tree. See chapter Expand submenu.

Send by email

Sends the directory tree via email. This will create an email containing the contents of the directory tree using the current email settings. Emails can either be send using a MAPI client like Microsoft Outlook or via SMTP (recommended). Email settings can be configured in the options dialog of SpaceObServer.

Export

This button provides several different export options such as "Excel", "Plain text", or "HTML file". You can also copy the directory tree or the contents of the "Details" view to the clipboard. The drop-down menu enables you to customize any export type. See Export.

Options

Opens the options dialog for SpaceObServer.

Search

Opens the File Search dialog to configure search filters
