The ribbon tab View contains all actions and elements influencing the general appearance of the application.
Size |
Shows the size of files and folders in the directory tree. |
Allocated Space |
Shows occupied disk space on the hard disk in the directory tree. |
Number of Files |
Shows the number of files in the selected folder and its subfolders. |
Percent |
Shows how much percent of the parent folder each folder occupies. |
Automatic Unit |
If this option is activated, SpaceObServer will automatically select the most appropriate size unit. |
TB |
Shows size values in terabyte (TB). |
GB |
Shows size values in gigabyte (GB). |
MB |
Shows size values in megabyte (MB). |
KB |
Shows size values in kilobyte (KB). |
B |
Shows size values in byte (B). |
Decimals |
Sets the number of decimals shown in displayed values. |
Sort By Size |
The largest folders/files will be displayed first. |
Sort By Name |
The folders/files will be sorted alphabetically. |
Show size changes in tree |
Activate this option to show the size development of the folders, known from the "History" graph, directly in the directory tree, instead of the normal size value. Note: The date interval for the size development shown in the directory tree is given by the history interval selected on the "History" tab. |
Group all Scans in Container |
Creates a new Container and adds all scans in the directory tree, to receive the total results for all scans. |
Hide Empty Folders |
Activate this option to exclude empty folders from the directory tree. Note: This option will automatically be enabled during the file search usage. |
Show Checkboxes |
Activate this option to show check boxes in the Details view and the File System Tree. Check files or entire directories to move, archive or delete them by the "Move items" option on the "Tools" tab |
Show List of Scans |
Shows or hides the "List of Scans". |
Overview |
Shows an "Overview" about the current drive, as well as the selected history interval. If a filter has been enabled, the filter options will also be displayed. |
