Drives and directories¶
Drives section¶
Lists all drives available on your computer. Select a drive to scan it, or double-click an entry to start the scan immediately.
This also contains a list of synchronized cloud drives (e.g. OneDrive) which you can scan from here as well.
Directory section¶
Shows a directory tree that you can browse to pick the exact folder you want to scan. Select a folder and confirm your selection, or double-click a folder to start the scan right away.
Here, you can also select “special” paths like your libraries, “This PC”, cloud storages, or UNC paths (e.g. to scan your NAS).
The directory tree also displays container files that TreeSize is able to analyze. This, for example, includes archive (.zip) files as well as TreeSize snapshot databases (.sqlite).
To start a scan of such a file, you may also simply enter the path to it, including the file name, into the drop-down box above the directory tree.
