Google Drive

Analyzes the data stored in your Google Drive in the cloud. Sign-in uses Google’s secure OAuth2 flow, so your credentials are never entered directly in TreeSize.

In this section you can:

  • Sign in to your Google account if you are not logged in yet.

  • Enable Keep me logged in to stay signed in for future scans.

  • Sign out of your Google account at any time.

Note

Even if you chose to stay logged in, you may occasionally be asked to sign in again – for example if the stored login token has expired or the connection could not be established.

Once you are signed in, choose what to scan using the Selected path field at the bottom of the dialog:

  • Use gdrive:// or gdrive://* to scan your entire storage. Files that are exclusively available in “Google Photos” and do not appear in the regular Google Drive are not included.

  • Use gdrive://<subpath>/<optional folder> to scan a specific folder on your Google Drive.

  • Alternatively, paste a folder’s URL from your web browser into the field to scan that specific folder.
